Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for our Lansdale, PA office. The role supports a physician daily, escorts patients, records medical info, and conducts vital signs, stress tests, and EKGs.

You will assist with labs, follow-up on results, and help with scheduling and front-desk tasks. The ideal candidate is certified/registered, with 2–3 years of MA experience, and comfortable with cardiology procedures.

Formación

• Must be certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification preferred through the AHA.
• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Cardiology procedures familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Computer knowledge is essential.
• EMR experience is a plus.
• Well-spoken, friendly and outgoing.

Responsabilidades

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room and record medical information.
• Review medications and obtain vital signs; perform stress tests and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results and assist with check-in/out and scheduling.
• Review and prepare next day's assignments; handle other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistant to work at our Lansdale, PA office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
• Perform stress testing and EKGs
• Follow up on lab results
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• BLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

• If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
