Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for our West Chester, PA office. The role involves traveling between locations and supporting a physician daily, including taking vital signs, EKGs, stress tests, and patient check-in/out.

Qualifications include certified/registered Medical Assistant status and at least 2–3 years of experience. BLS is preferred. Healthcare benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Familiarity with cardiology procedures such as stress tests and Holter monitors is a plus.
• Must be able to multitask and be well-spoken.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform stress testing and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our West Chester, PA office. Please note that this will require traveling.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
• Perform stress testing and EKGs
• Follow up on lab results
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• BLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

• If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
