Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for our West Chester, PA office with travel to other locations included. This role includes a $500 sign-on bonus and collaboration with assigned physicians to deliver quality cardiovascular care.

The candidate must be a certified Medical Assistant with 2-3 years of experience, BLS preferred, strong multitasking and computer skills, and familiarity with cardiology procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
• Must have 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Familiarity with cardiology procedures like stress tests, Coumadin management, and Holter monitors a plus.
• Ability to multitask and be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing.
• Computer knowledge required; EMR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform stress testing and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our West Chester, PA office. Please note that this will require traveling.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign‑on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs

• Answer phones and assist with check‑in/out procedures if necessary
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• B LS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)

• Familiarity with various cardiology‑related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign‑on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign‑on bonus.
