Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring full-time Medical Assistants to support our Blue Bell, PA office, with travel to Montgomery County locations. The role includes helping physicians, recording vitals, and assisting with exams and scheduling.

Requires certified or registered Medical Assistant credentials, BLS preferred, and 2–3 years of experience. A sign-on bonus is offered; details provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification from AHA is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience with cardiology procedures is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and computer skills required.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform stress testing and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our Blue Bell, PA office. Please note that this position requires traveling to all of our Montgomery County offices.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
• Perform stress testing and EKGs
• Follow up on lab results
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• B LS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
