Job summary

Bookmark Medical in White House, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, clinic-based role with a Monday–Friday schedule. The position includes 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours, four 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch, and clinics closed on weekends.

You will greet patients, manage calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain the EHR. Candidates should have healthcare or administrative experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with EHRs

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative role.

• A positive attitude and a commitment to patient centered service.
• Proficiency with EHR systems (Athena or eCW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism.
• Managing incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries.
• Scheduling appointments, referrals, follow ups, and co pays.
• Assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Supporting clear communication between patients and providers.
• Updating and maintaining accurate information in the EHR.
• Keeping the front desk organized, efficient, and patient ready.

Schedule

This is a full-time, clinic-based position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
