Job summary

Bookmark Medical in White House, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, clinic-based role with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

You will greet patients, manage calls, schedule appointments, assist with insurance verifications, and support clear communication between patients and providers while updating and maintaining accurate information in the EHR.

Schedule

This is a full-time, clinic-based position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Four, 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Clinics are closed on weekends — no Saturday or Sunday shifts

What you’ll do

You’ll create a smooth, supportive experience for every patient by:

• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism
• Managing incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries
• Scheduling appointments, referrals, follow ups, and co pays
• Assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Supporting clear communication between patients and providers
• Updating and maintaining accurate information in the EHR

What you bring

• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• EHR proficiency (Athena or eCW preferred)
