Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Taunton, MA team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate documentation, and teamwork within a fast-paced clinic.

You will welcome patients, take vitals, assist providers, and help manage referrals and scheduling while adhering to safety standards and best practices. A certified MA with relevant experience is preferred, and reimbursement for certification is available.

Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification (or willingness to obtain; reimbursement provided).
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, and support providers during exams.
• Perform point of care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Support patient education, follow ups, and clear communication.
• Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow safety guidelines.
