Advanced Foot & Ankle Center offers a wide range of services, from routine foot care to surgery and hospital care, diabetic foot care, and emergency, same-day appointments. We have 6 convenient locations in Bountiful, Heber City, Park City, West Jordan, and Salt Lake City.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet patients on the phone and in person
- Place patients in the exam rooms
- Take vital signs of patients
- Assist and set up for examination, treatment, and procedures
- Keep accurate patient files
- Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist
- Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Requirements
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound
- Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong organizational and clerical skills to maintain patient files and perform office duties
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of training
- EMR Experience; Athena or ModMed experience is a plus

- Monday: Float
- Tuesday: St Marks – 8 am – 5 pm
- Wednesday: West Jordan – 8 am – 5 pm
- Thursday: Float
- Friday: St Marks – 8 am – 12 pm
