Job summary

Balance Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to join their team in Glendale, Arizona. This role involves greeting patients, assisting in examinations, and maintaining patient files. The ideal candidate should possess a High School Diploma, an X-Ray certificate valid in Arizona, and CPR certification. Medical Assistant – Training Provided!

Our family oriented practice is known for teamwork and our Medical Assistants will partner with our physicians and other team members on clinical and administrative duties. A great candidate for this role is excited about creating a positive patient experience and ensuring smooth patient flow within the practice. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet patients on the phone and in person
  • Place patients in the exam rooms
  • Take vital signs of patients
  • Assist and set up for examination, treatment, and procedures
  • Keep accurate patient files
  • Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist
  • Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
  • Maintain HIPAA
  • A variety of other clinical and administrative duties as needed
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current American Heart Association CPR Certification desirable
  • MA Certification a plus, but not required
  • EMR Experience is helpful, Athena experience is a plus

  • Candidate must posses X-Ray certificate valid in Arizona
