Job summary

US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our podiatry team. You will work directly alongside physicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing hands-on patient care and supporting procedures in a collaborative clinic.

This role includes hands-on training and ongoing education to build your skills, with a focus on patient relationships and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1+ year clinical experience.
  • CMA or RMA certification preferred.
  • Experience with medical terminology and insurance processes preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, room them, take vitals, update medical history, and prepare for exams
  • Assist physicians with injections, wound care, nail care, minor procedures, and in-office surgeries
  • Apply DME, strappings, and pads; take X-rays; prepare and submit lab specimens
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure clinical supplies are stocked
  • Provide patient education and follow‑up communication
  • Support scheduling, patient check‑in/check‑out, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Verify insurance, referrals, and authorizations
  • Maintain accurate patient records through EMR documentation, scanning, and data entry
  • Support billing follow‑ups, orthotics tracking, and daily office operations

Family Foot & Ankle Specialists, a division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join our growing podiatry team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will work directly alongside our physicians to provide hands‑on patient care in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, supporting providers during procedures, and being part of a collaborative clinical team.

Our Medical Assistants receive hands‑on training and ongoing clinical education to help you build your skills and succeed in the role.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
