Job summary

Optima Medical Ltd in Arizona is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across a fast-paced clinic. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and performing procedures such as EKG, PFT, and ear lavage.

In addition to clinical duties, the role involves administering injections, drawing blood, and assisting with scheduling and charting. Strong EMR experience and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed
