Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant in Arizona to support patient flow through clinical tasks and documentation. You will record vital signs, assist with exams, and perform routine procedures under supervision.

Qualifications include 1+ year of MA clinical experience and EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred). Excellent communication and professionalism are essential in our fast-paced, patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.
