Job summary

Optima Medical in Arizona is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams across our network of locations. You will record vital signs, assist with exams, perform procedures, and help manage patient flow with accuracy and compassion.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical MA experience and EMR proficiency (eClinicalWorks preferred), strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.
