Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Arizona team. You will record patient information, prepare exam rooms, and assist with scheduling while supporting providers in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical MA experience, EMR proficiency (eClinicalWorks preferred), excellent communication, and a professional demeanor. We offer a supportive environment with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed
