Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in Arizona with patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, and room preparation. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical MA experience and EMR familiarity, preferably with eClinicalWorks.

Responsibilities include assisting with injections, EKGs, PFTs, scheduling follow-ups, and charting for providers across a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant
• 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments
• Perform medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage, etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed
