Pinnacle Fertility, Inc. in Downtown Portland, OR is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients through the fertility journey.

This full-time, onsite role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and offers an hourly rate of $22.00–$26.00 depending on experience and qualifications. You will assist providers with examinations and procedures, record vital signs, draw blood, manage EMR documentation, schedule follow-ups, and educate patients on treatment plans while upholding infection control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant program certification.
• Phlebotomy certification is a plus.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and stock equipment and supplies.
• Maintain accurate EMR records.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and medications.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

As a Medical Assistant, you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility- Oregon in Downtown Portland, OR. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Phlebotomy certification is a plus.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Fertility or women's health experience is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients.
• Hourly Rate: $22.00-$26.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
