Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to support our new Wilmington, DE office, with travel to Chester County sites until training is complete. The team collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities include assisting with exams, recording vitals, performing stress tests and EKGs, managing lab results, scheduling, and patient check-in/out.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS (AHA) preferred.
• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Familiarity with stress tests, Coumadin management, Holter monitors is a plus.
• Strong multitasking ability and computer skills.
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform stress testing and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full‑time Medical Assistants to work at our new Wilmington, DE office. Please note that this will require traveling to other offices in Chester County until training is complete.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign‑on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily
• Escort patients to the exam room
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs

• Assist with appointment scheduling

Requirements

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
• B LS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology‑related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well‑spoken, friendly, and outgoing

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign‑on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign‑on bonus.
