Job summary

Optima Medical, based in Arizona, seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will record patient information, clean and prepare exam rooms, and assist with various medical procedures. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least one year of clinical experience and EMR proficiency, specifically eClinicalWorks. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling and follow up.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
