Job summary

Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group comprising 30 locations and over 130+ providers, delivering care to more than 200,000 patients statewide. We seek a Medical Assistant with clinical experience and EMR proficiency to support exam rooms, patient care, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include vital signs, injections, EKGs, and blood draws, plus maintaining clean rooms and accurate charting, enabling our clinicians to deliver quality care across specialties.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.
