Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support our Arizona clinics. You will record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist with a range of procedures to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical experience and EMR proficiency, preferably eClinicalWorks, with strong communication and professionalism. This full-time role offers a supportive environment and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Perform procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
