Job summary

Optima Medical in Arizona seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple locations. The role involves recording patient data, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures such as EKG, PFT, and injections.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical experience, EMR familiarity (eClinicalWorks preferred), and strong communication and customer service skills. HS diploma or GED is required, and CMA or MA diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical medical assisting experience.
• 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history

Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.

Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.

Administer injections and take blood draws.

Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.

Medical Assistant Job Qualifications:

At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant

At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.

High level of professionalism
