Zusammenfassung

EGA Associates is seeking a qualified Administrative Associate with medical-office experience to support a Primary Care Community Based Outpatient Clinic serving Veterans in Pottsville and Schuylkill County. The position provides clerical, scheduling, patient-navigation, and logistics care-coordination support to the Patient Aligned Care Team.

The role requires VA scheduling training, knowledge of medical terminology, patient confidentiality, and strong communication skills to coordinate care

Qualifikationen

• Education and experience demonstrating clerical support in a medical-office environment.
• Ability to complete VA scheduling training before independently performing VA scheduling functions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient confidentiality, customer service, scheduling, and electronic records.
• Ability to complete VA and EGA background screening, privacy, security, and onboarding requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide clerical support and administrative functions to Patient Aligned Care Team staff.
• Support scheduled and unassigned patients presenting for care at the clinic.
• Collaborate with PACT staff to integrate logistics of care coordination into care-management plans.
• Protect patient privacy and handle confidential information in accordance with policy.
• Assist with appointment coordination, telephone service, document routing and follow-up communication.
