Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking a Project Manager to lead a Medicaid MMIS modernization effort with remote work and up to 25% travel to client sites.

The Project Manager will drive health, milestones, and quality for the cohort, coordinating vendor teams and business partners, and contributing to program plans and integrated project plans within MITA 3.0/CMS frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience running multiple concurrent projects.
• 6+ years of Medicaid systems or operations project management experience.
• 4+ years managing projects in assigned area.
• 3–5 years of experience managing multi-vendor projects.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Project.
• 2–4 years of experience with CMS procurement requirements.
• 1–2 years performing procurement work (RFIs/RFPs, vendor selection).
• Experience with MITA 3.0 and CMS standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for vendor/cohort projects.
• Manage health and quality of vendor/cohort projects.
• Ensure all project phases stay on schedule.
• Oversee daily activities and assign tasks to team members.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Identify, manage and report risks and issues.
• Support PMO methodologies and program plans.
• Monitor progress against the Project Management Plan.
• Review contractor work plans and resource allocations.
• Prepare status reports for regular meetings.
• Contribute to organizational project strategy decisions.
