Centerstone in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Medic II to support clients in the Sobering Center within the Rapid Access Unit. You will monitor health, perform screenings, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, therapeutic care during treatment stay.

Ideal candidates have a Missouri paramedic license, at least 1 year of experience, and strong clinical judgment with excellent communication skills to engage clients and families effectively.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Missouri Paramedic license required.
• Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct medical screenings and assessments to determine eligibility for Sobering Center services and assign the appropriate level of care.
• Monitor client health, vital signs, and progress during services.
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and health concerns to support engagement.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians and treatment team to coordinate care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and alert appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document client activities and assessments timely and accurately.
• Support program goals and quality initiatives.
