Qualifications

• Current Missouri Paramedic licensure required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Paramedic.
• Thorough knowledge of EMS and behavioral health treatment environments.
• Ability to enter, document, maintain, and retrieve information in written and electronic formats.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical screening and assessment to determine admission appropriateness.
• Collect vitals and medical information to determine level of care.
• Assign beds or recliners based on clinical presentation.
• Monitor progress and condition according to protocols.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians and treatment team for safe care.
• Respond to medical concerns and alert appropriate personnel during emergencies.
• Educate clients regarding medications, treatment plans, and program expectations.
• Document services and activities timely and accurately.
