Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Paramedic to join the Sobering Center within the CB Rapid Access Unit. The role combines medical screening, monitoring, and supportive care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.

You will assess incoming consumers, monitor progress, respond to emergencies, educate on medications, and collaborate with staff to ensure safe, person-centered care. A Missouri Paramedic license and 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Missouri Paramedic licensure required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical screening and assessment to determine admission.
• Collect vital signs and monitor client progress.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Educate clients regarding medications and treatment plans.
• Maintain timely documentation of services and observations.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians and treatment team.
