Burrell Behavioral Health in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Paramedic to join the Sobering Center within the Rapid Access Unit. You will provide medical screening, monitor patient status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, and person-centered care.

The role requires Missouri Paramedic licensure, at least 1 year of paramedic experience, and strong communication skills to educate clients and coordinate care effectively.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Missouri Paramedic licensure required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working as a Paramedic.
• Thorough knowledge of EMS and behavioral health treatment environments.
• Ability to document accurately, maintain records, and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical screening and assessment to determine admission.
• Collect vital signs and medical information to determine level of care.
• Assign beds or recliners based on clinical presentation and protocols.
• Monitor progress and condition during stay according to protocols.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians and staff to ensure safe care.
• Respond to medical concerns and alert appropriate personnel during emergencies.
• Educate clients about medications, treatment plans, and program expectations.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of services and activities.
