WVIR-TV/Gray Media in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a motivated Media Executive to join our energetic sales team. You will develop, sell, and implement creative marketing solutions across digital and television platforms, building long-term relationships with local and national advertisers and driving revenue.

The position offers base salary of $40,000 per year plus commissions, a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, and extensive training.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance is required.
• Media sales experience is preferred.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do, team player attitude are a must.

Responsibilities

• Build a list of prospective clients with guidance and assistance from WVIR sales managers.
• Make phone calls to set appointments with business prospects.
• Conduct sales calls in collaboration with WVIR sales managers.
• Develop an advertising strategy/solution based on knowledge gained from the initial sales call.
• Present advertising strategy/solution to business prospect.
• Secure advertising contracts with new clients.
• Work with WVIR and GDM team to ensure a successful advertising campaign.
