Job summary

TEGNA Inc. is seeking a competitive, coachable Account Executive for KENS-TV San Antonio, the CBS affiliate. You will develop new business and manage a portfolio of advertising clients across broadcast TV, Premion streaming/CTV and digital, building cross-screen campaigns.

You’ll prospect, qualify, present solutions, handle objections and close deals while meeting revenue goals. The role requires strong communication and relationship skills, willingness to travel locally, and a Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Sales, customer service, marketing or advertising experience preferred.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM or digital advertising tools.
• Willingness to travel locally to meet clients as needed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by prospecting and building a strong pipeline across broadcast TV, Premion streaming/CTV and digital.
• Manage the full sales process from qualifying leads to presenting solutions and closing deals.
• Sell consultatively by understanding client goals and recommending the right mix of media.
• Build compelling proposals using data-informed insights to meet client objectives.
• Grow client relationships and turn new accounts into long-term partnerships.
• Manage your pipeline with CRM tools to keep opportunities moving toward revenue goals.
