Source Data Preparation

• Export and prepare media assets and metadata from Avid MAM for migration
• Organize source data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Metadata Migration

• Extract, enrich, and validate metadata from Avid MAM systems
• Ensure metadata integrity and linkage between media objects and assignments
• Normalize metadata for compatibility with downstream ingestion workflows

Media Migration

• Execute migration workflows to transfer media assets from AWS S3 archives to cloud‑based processing environments
• Validate successful transfers and troubleshoot issues during migration
• Support ingestion workflows within Mimir to process assets, generate proxies, and archive content into Google Cloud Storage GCS
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration with CBS NEWS file transfer platform

Required Skills & Experience

• Mandatory strong hands‑on expertise with Avid MAM Media Asset Management
• Experience with AWS S3 services and cloud‑based migration workflows
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) or other cloud storage platforms
• Knowledge of metadata migration processes and workflow automation
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and efficient migration workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in media broadcast technology environments
• Familiarity with Mimir ingestion pipelines
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
