Hubbard DC is seeking an Account Manager to sell advertising and develop new business relationships in the Washington, DC area. You will prospect, present, and close direct-business opportunities across spot, digital, and other platforms, while coordinating with internal teams to deliver compelling campaigns.

The role requires strong English communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work after hours or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in traditional and digital media sales.
• Ability to present to decision makers.
• Excellent written and oral English language communication skills.
• Experience building sales presentations for direct-business selling.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed budgets for spot, digital, and direct business.
• Prepare and complete sales presentations with decision makers.
• Proactively prospect new businesses on a weekly basis.
• Close all pending business in a timely manner and follow up.
• Update Sales Manager weekly on progress of pending business.
• Collaborate with other departments for promotional solutions.
• Provide customer service to direct and agency accounts.
• Obtain credit approval for new accounts and ensure timely payments.
