Qualifications

• Familiarity with broadcasting and digital terminology.
• Ability to present advertising benefits clearly.
• Proficient with Word; familiarity with sales software.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed budgets for spot, digital, and direct business; prospect weekly.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to decision makers.
• Present needs analyses with research, docs, and creative solutions.
• Follow up and close pending business promptly.
• Provide weekly progress updates to Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to craft promotional solutions.
• Present to agency personnel, selling and pre-selling audience attributes.
• Deliver exemplary service to accounts with regular in-person meetings.
• Obtain credit approval for new accounts.
• Ensure timely payments and assist with collections.
• Attend client events; remotes and broadcasts after hours/weekends.
• Complete written forecasts, updates, orders and copy by deadlines.
• Attend weekly meetings and trainings as required.
• Understand rates, promotions, inventory, and stay current on trends.
• Maintain regular attendance; build relationships with clients and vendors.
• Perform additional duties as required.
