Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking Med Techs to provide quality care for residents and assist with daily activities. You will help administer prescribed medications within scope, document in EMAR/MAR, and communicate resident status to the health care team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, completed Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses. Candidates must pass medication observations and audits, and participate in ongoing training and weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Aide Course completion required.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing required.
• Pass medication observations annually and pass medication cart audits.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls or emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs for residents.
• Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Re-order medications and communicate changes to family as needed.
