Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Good communication skills with residents and team.
• Experience administering medications in assisted living settings as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer, pour, pass, and document prescribed medications per physician orders.
• Order medications to ensure residents have supplies, notify if delays occur.
• Document medications given in the resident’s medical record after administration.
• Observe and report reactions or side effects to the licensed nurse.
• Take vital signs prior to medications that may affect them.
• Assist with care plan development and ensure resident privacy and safety.
