Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Billings, MT is seeking a Med Tech for full-time or part-time work at our assisted living/memory care community.

The role includes administering medications, documenting per physician orders, and supporting resident wellbeing under the Wellness Director. A high school diploma, medication administration training, and First Aid certification are required, with ongoing education encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must complete state approved Medication Administration training.
• First Aid certification as required by ALF regulations.
• QMAP in the state of CO.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per physician orders.
• Order meds from the pharmacy as prescribed; ensure timely delivery.
• Document medications in medical records after administration.
• Observe and report reactions/side effects to licensed nurses.
• Take and record vital signs prior to medication administration when needed.
• Assist in care planning and daily resident care activities.
