Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Boca Pointe is seeking a part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time and observe residents during and after passes to ensure comfort and safety.

CPR and First Aid certifications are required, and strong documentation and communication skills are essential. Senior care experience is preferred for this role in a compassionate, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
