Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and dignity for residents. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during and after passes, monitor symptoms, and report any refusals or concerns promptly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes
• Observe and report any changes promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards
