Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and ensure safe, accurate care for residents in our communities. You will follow physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration while documenting in MAR/TAR in real time.

You will observe residents during and after passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly to support resident safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
