Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities at our Hershey, PA location. The role includes medication administration within scope of practice, planning activities, and maintaining confidentiality and documentation in EMAR/MAR systems.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days.
• Must attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living for residents.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls or emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning activity programs for residents.
• Communicate resident status and information to the team.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in the Daily Log.
• Document all medication administration on EMAR/MAR and report exceptions.
