Harmony Senior Services in State College, PA is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to assist with prescribed medications and resident care. The role supports daily living activities, documents status, and helps maintain a safe, respectful living environment.

The position requires a Medication Aide Course completion, CNA and Med Tech licenses, and strong communication to coordinate with nursing staff. Flex scheduling and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Medication Aide Course is mandatory.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing are required.
• Must pass medication observations and annual trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures for the position.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Aid in activity planning and resident engagement.
• Follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
• Assist in move‑in transition with emotional support.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Communicate medication needs to the Health Care Director and log updates.
