Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in State College, PA is seeking a part-time Med Tech to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration within the scope of practice. You will maintain accurate MAR/EMAR documentation, assist with meals, mobility, and activity programs, and report concerns promptly to the nursing team.

The role requires completing the Medication Aide course, holding CNA and Med Tech licenses, and passing medication observations annually.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses from State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties and upkeep of resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Document medication administration on EMAR/MAR and daily log.
