Job summary
Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech in Suffolk, VA to provide quality care and assist with medications and daily living activities. You will support residents, document in EMAR/MAR, and maintain compliance with policies while working with a nursing team.
The role requires CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to lift, walk, and remain calm in emergencies. Flexible schedule with weekend availability is common.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Complete Medication Aide Course.
- CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
- Pass medication observations and audits as required.
- Stay current with medication education requirements.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications per policy and documentation.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform housekeeping tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Respond promptly to calls and medical alerts from residents.
- Document changes in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
- Report incidents or concerns to HCD/RN/LPN as appropriate.
- Assist with move-in transitions and activity planning as needed.
