Candidates must have a HS diploma, complete Medication Aide Course, and hold CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or to obtain within 60 days. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and ability to work weekends.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Complete Medication Aide Course
• CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing
• Pass 2 medication observations annually
• Pass all medication cart audits
• Attend 4 hours of medication administration education annually
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Aufgaben

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies
• Involve residents in activity programs
• Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log
• Communicate medication needs to HCD and update Daily Log
