Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Summerville, SC is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care, assist residents with daily living activities, and administer prescribed medications within scope. You will maintain EMAR/MAR documentation and support the nursing team.

You will perform medication cart audits, attend medication training, and respond to emergencies while upholding confidentiality and resident dignity. A CNA and Med Tech license are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR daily and report exceptions.
• Perform medication cart audits and maintain the medication cart as directed.
• Report incidents and concerns to supervisor and health care staff.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions and adapt to resident needs.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Follow confidentiality policies and maintain professional conduct.
