Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Summerville, SC is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents, including medication administration within scope of practice.

The ideal candidate will hold a CNA and Med Tech license, have completed the Medication Aide Course, and be CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain within 60 days). Excellent communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must complete 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Report incidents and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activities.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information.
• Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Communicate resident status and appointments to HCD and team.
