Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (CNA/HCA) to administer medications and assist residents with daily living tasks in a supportive team setting.

The role requires a valid CNA or HCA license, current First Aid/CPR, and a commitment to compassionate, dignity-centered care in a senior living environment. On-site position with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self-administration per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and provide emotional support with engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
