Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities. You will join a team focused on resident comfort, safety, and well-being within a supportive environment.

Requirements include a valid state CNA/HCA license, first aid/CPR, and 12+ months of med administration experience. Weekend rotation may be required; prior memory care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.
• Minimum 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications per care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and resident engagement.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
