Cogir Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to support residents with medication administration and daily living activities. You will work within a care team to ensure comfort, safety, and well-being, following individualized plans and documentation protocols.

The role requires CNA/HCA licensure, First Aid/CPR, and Weekend rotations; custodian responsibilities include engagement, teamwork, and respectful resident interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage, coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Prioritize independence and provide ongoing engagement and companionship.
• Encourage and assist participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
