Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide direct care and assist with medication administration for our residents. You will join a team that prioritizes safety, dignity, and daily living support in a compassionate environment.

The role requires attention to detail, clear communication, and a caring approach as you work alongside nursing and caregiving staff to maintain personalized care plans and engagement activities for memory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report any changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and ongoing engagement with residents.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities.
• Maintain open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
