Cogir Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, direct care by assisting residents with medication administration and daily living activities, per personalized plans. You will work in a supportive team focused on safety, comfort, and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.
• 12+ months of medication administration experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Experience with memory care is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage independence and provide emotional support and companionship.
• Promote participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication among healthcare professionals, residents, families and staff.
